THE YONGIWAY APPROACH TO MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE THERAPY

HAS BEEN PROVEN AND AROUND FOR MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS !

It has become very obvious in the last four years or so that medical Research is coming to realize the importance of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy for both preventative and body breakdown treatment.

For me, I can only explain its importance as an alternative health healer who has advocated and expounded the necessity of lymphatic bodywork for more that twenty years.  It makes sense that the body is made up of 80% fluid and therefore must have “drains” and a “filtration system” to allow the flow of clean and clear fluid.  Where the lymphatic drain is not moving or if there is a breakdown, then the physical body suppers.

Sufferance can be manifested in muscular soreness, joint pains (like arthritis and rheumatism), and lumps forming.  Of course the most serious is when a lump turns malignant.  By having regular lymphatic drainage therapy (where practitioners clear the drains), the drains should be cleared and therefore prevents many physical ills.

Just to give you an example.  Recently in Kuching Centre, a man came in with arthritic fingers and wrists.  The fingers were so stiff and inflexible that even trying to unbend them gave discomforting pain.  Just an hour or so of lymphatic drainage work immediately showed magical results.  The fingers could move and the wrist more flexible without due pain.  Remember that this person had gone through other methods including the traditional medicine for a period of time with little headway.

Yes, lymphatic massage should be given to your body at least once a week.  The least is once in three weeks or you are actually playing “Russian Roulette” with your physical well being.  It is a medical and scientific fact too that each lymphatic drainage session is worth a marathon run!  It is also very relaxing and releases stress toxins at the same time.

There are two ways that you can go about having your lymphatic drainage therapy done.  Book in with the practitioner nearest to you (Seremban, Petaling Jaya, or Melbourne) and have a good workout session; or enrol yourself in a Professional Lymphatic Drainage Therapy course (Professional career) or Basic Lymphatic Therapy Course (one day). Please refer to the schedule of events for the next course.

By the way, my teaching of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy is rather different from anything else offered in the world.  It is not from any textbook or theory/practical taught by others.  The uniqueness of my work in this area is that I teach student hoe to “feel” the drains and lumps, and how best to work on the drains.  I also teach students how to interpret the manifestation of each block of the drains to emotional or mind matters.
